Exercise And Fitness – Reflection From November 10, 2025
I feel like this blog post would be a quick update on my fitness journey.
I have had quite a few great workouts this past week.
Highlights of my workout today:
- I was able to bench press 3 x 45 pound plates on each side for multiple sets for 4-5 reps.
- The smith machine barbell weighs around 25 pounds. Thus, I lifted around 295 pounds for 2 sets of 4-5 reps. It was a pretty good workout.
- I normally start my workout sets with 2 x 45 pound plates on each side of the smith machine barbell.
- I did around 10 reps at this weight.
Highlights of my workout a few days ago (11/08/2025):
- I was able to single leg squat 5 x 45 pound plates on each side on a smith machine barbell a few days ago. I did 3 reps at this weight.
- The smith machine barbell weighs around 25 pounds. Thus, I lifted around 475 pounds for 3 reps when I had 5 x 45 pound plates on each side of the smith machine barbell.
- I normally single leg squat on the smith machine barbell with around 4 x 45 pound plates on each side on the smith machine barbell for multiple sets of 4-5 reps. I feel like this is a great regular workout for me right now. I probably won’t change the weight of my regular workout for at least some time.
- I think I will probably work on my deadlift some more in the future.
I feel like these blog posts are pretty fun updates to my workout journey. I’ll probably check back with more workout reflections in the future.
